Working with one of our top financial clients, this role calls for a Wealth Planning Quality Analyst. The Wealth Planning Quality Analyst is responsible for reviewing completed financial plans to verify they meet established quality standards, regulatory requirements, and internal best practices. Pay rate range (CAD): $40.41/hr – $48.50/hr
Responsibilities
- Review completed financial plans against predefined quality standards, controls, and assessment criteria
- Evaluate plans for accuracy, completeness, consistency, and compliance with sound financial planning principles
- Identify and document errors, gaps, risks, or areas for improvement with clarity and consistency
- Ensure plans align with internal policies, regulatory expectations, and quality benchmarks
- Track, analyze, and report quality review outcomes, trends, and recurring issues for continuous improvement
- Collaborate with team members and internal partners to clarify expectations and support quality objectives
- Foster a culture of quality, detail orientation, and accountability within the wealth planning process
Desired Skill-Set
- Post-secondary education in finance, business, or related field, or equivalent experience
- Financial planning experience via advisory, technical, or planning support roles
- Certified Financial Planner (CFP), Pinnacle Financial Planning (PFP), or Qualified Associate Financial Planner (QAFP) designation
- Strong knowledge of core financial planning concepts (retirement, cash flow, investments, insurance, estate, and tax considerations)
- Exceptional attention to detail with the ability to evaluate complex information accurately
- Analytical, critical thinking, and sound judgment skills
- Ability to interpret and apply review criteria consistently and objectively
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for documenting findings clearly
- Persuasive communication skills to guide front-line planners in preparing corrected plans via virtual meetings
- Proven ability to work effectively within a collaborative, team-based environment
Nice to Have
- Proficiency in Microsoft 365 tools (Excel, Word, Teams) and financial planning software
- Bilingual in French
