Working with one of our top financial clients, this role calls for a Transactions Processing Analyst – Banking. This position involves providing day-to-day operational support by accurately processing financial transactions in a fast-paced banking environment, ensuring compliance with industry regulations, and supporting process improvement initiatives.
Pay rate range (CAD): $17.60/hr – $19.36/hr
Responsibilities
- Ensure timely, accurate processing of banking transactions daily.
- Escalate processing issues promptly to maintain high levels of service quality.
- Follow all firm and industry regulations and operating procedures.
- Identify opportunities for service delivery improvements and support process enhancement initiatives.
- Prioritize workload to meet SLA requirements and accommodate overtime when necessary.
- Collaborate with internal departments and support seasonal volume fluctuations.
- Maintain high accuracy and detail orientation throughout all tasks.
- Participate in daily stand-up meetings and communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders.
- Manage access to customer data securely and responsibly.
Desired Skill-Set
- Minimum of 2 years of transaction processing experience.
- Strong computer skills, particularly with MS Office and Excel.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Ability to adapt quickly and support multiple departments as needed.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a high-volume environment.
- Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- Demonstrated willingness to learn and improve.
Nice to Have
- Previous experience in banking or financial services industry.
- Familiarity with CRS, FATCA, CSE, or AML processes.
