Working with one of our top financial clients, this role calls for a Banking Associate – KYC. This position involves supporting Know Your Customer processes, ensuring compliance, and managing client data to maintain regulatory standards. The role offers an opportunity to work within a dynamic, data-driven environment with potential for growth and development.
Pay rate range (CAD): $31.08/hr – $37.30/hr
Responsibilities:
- Process KYC transactions accurately and within established SLAs
- Review and verify client documentation to confirm compliance with AML and KYC regulations
- Escalate complex or high-risk cases to appropriate teams for resolution
- Maintain detailed and accurate records of all client interactions and transaction data
- Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to facilitate ongoing client onboarding and updates
- Support process improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency
- Protect client confidentiality and ensure data privacy protocols are adhered to at all times
- Participate in team meetings and daily huddles for effective communication
Desired Skill-Set:
- 2-3 years of experience in a banking or financial services environment, particularly in KYC or AML operations
- Strong attention to detail and high accuracy in processing transactions
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Tech-savvy with proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook), SharePoint, and Confluence
- Strong organizational skills and ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Knowledge of data privacy standards and compliance requirements
- Effective in managing multiple priorities and meeting deadlines
- Demonstrated leadership abilities and attention to customer service
Nice to Have:
- Understanding of banking regulations and compliance, particularly KYC procedures
- Experience with payment systems, such as real-time payments or electronic transfers
- Prior experience working in a high-volume operational setting
- Familiarity with industry-specific software or banking platforms
