Working with one of our top financial clients, this role calls for a Test Lead for U.S. Treasury Cash and Repo Clearing project. This position involves overseeing end-to-end testing strategies, coordinating cross-functional teams, and ensuring regulatory and operational compliance throughout the project lifecycle.
Responsibilities
- Develop and own comprehensive test strategies, including UAT and E2E scope planning and execution.
- Lead testing activities across internal teams (Front Office, Operations, Risk, Finance, Technology) and external counterparties (e.g., FICC, BNY, Broadridge).
- Manage testing prerequisites, such as data setup, file readiness, environment, and resource alignment.
- Review, challenge, and refine business-defined test scenarios to ensure coverage of regulatory, operational, and risk requirements.
- Conduct daily testing calls, track progress, resolve issues, and troubleshoot defects collaboratively.
- Maintain complete testing artifacts, ensuring traceability from regulatory requirements through to test cases, execution, and evidence for audit and regulatory exams.
- Provide clear status updates to senior stakeholders, highlighting risks, key defects, and go/no-go recommendations for releases.
Desired Skill-Set
- 5+ years of experience leading large-scale capital markets testing efforts, including UAT and E2E testing.
- Proven ownership of testing outcomes with proactive risk and gap identification.
- Strong learning agility and quick adaptation to regulations, trade flows, and technology.
- Ability to perform under pressure, manage ambiguity, and coordinate with multiple stakeholders.
- In-depth understanding of dealer operating models, including trade booking, margin, settlements, risk management, and finance functions.
Nice to Have
- Capital markets certifications or regulatory knowledge.
- Experience with U.S. Treasury and Repo operations.
- Familiarity with testing tools and automation processes.
- Prior experience working in highly regulated environments.
