UX Content Specialist-Banking

Working with one of our top financial clients, this role calls for a UX Content Specialist-Banking. The ideal candidate will bring advanced user experience design skills, strategic thinking, and stakeholder management experience to create compelling, audience-focused digital solutions that simplify complex concepts and deliver exceptional user experiences.
Pay rate range (CAD): $71.88/hr – $86.25/hr
Responsibilities
- Design intuitive and user-centered digital interfaces for web applications and public sites
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business needs and translate them into effective design solutions
- Develop wireframes, prototypes, and visual designs to communicate concepts clearly
- Conduct user research and testing to gather feedback and refine designs accordingly
- Maintain consistency with branding and accessibility standards
- Advocate for best UX practices across all projects
- Document design processes and contribute to Design System updates as needed
- Work in a hybrid environment with flexibility for onsite and remote engagement
Desired Skill-Set
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in UX design with a strong portfolio showcasing previous work
- Proven ability to create audience-focused content that simplifies complex concepts
- Extensive experience with strategic content planning and stakeholder engagement
- Mastery of English in writing, editing, and proofreading
- Strong understanding and experience with public site design
- Previous experience with financial institutions or regulated industries preferred
- Self-motivated, organized, and able to work independently
- Excellent collaboration and communication skills
- Experience with functional integration (FI) systems a plus
Nice to Have
- Experience working in a hybrid work environment
- Knowledge of user research and testing methodologies
- Familiarity with accessibility standards and guidelines
- Skills in interaction design and visual storytelling
- Knowledge of current UX tools and technologies
