Working with one of our top financial clients, this role calls for a UX Content Specialist-Banking. The ideal candidate will bring advanced user experience design skills, strategic thinking, and stakeholder management experience to create compelling, audience-focused digital solutions that simplify complex concepts and deliver exceptional user experiences.

Pay rate range (CAD): $71.88/hr – $86.25/hr

Responsibilities

  • Design intuitive and user-centered digital interfaces for web applications and public sites
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business needs and translate them into effective design solutions
  • Develop wireframes, prototypes, and visual designs to communicate concepts clearly
  • Conduct user research and testing to gather feedback and refine designs accordingly
  • Maintain consistency with branding and accessibility standards
  • Advocate for best UX practices across all projects
  • Document design processes and contribute to Design System updates as needed
  • Work in a hybrid environment with flexibility for onsite and remote engagement

Desired Skill-Set

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in UX design with a strong portfolio showcasing previous work
  • Proven ability to create audience-focused content that simplifies complex concepts
  • Extensive experience with strategic content planning and stakeholder engagement
  • Mastery of English in writing, editing, and proofreading
  • Strong understanding and experience with public site design
  • Previous experience with financial institutions or regulated industries preferred
  • Self-motivated, organized, and able to work independently
  • Excellent collaboration and communication skills
  • Experience with functional integration (FI) systems a plus

Nice to Have

  • Experience working in a hybrid work environment
  • Knowledge of user research and testing methodologies
  • Familiarity with accessibility standards and guidelines
  • Skills in interaction design and visual storytelling
  • Knowledge of current UX tools and technologies
