Working with one of our top financial clients, this role calls for an Email Developer – SFMC. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to high-impact client communications for a major Canadian bank, focusing on building and optimizing email campaigns within Salesforce Marketing Cloud. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to develop innovative marketing solutions, supporting BAU activities.
Pay rate range (CAD): $47.10/hr – $56.52/hr
Responsibilities
- Develop and deploy multiple emails, web pages, and SMS within Salesforce Marketing Cloud
- Collaborate with team members to create and update email templates and content
- Manage and enhance standardized email templates, ensuring quality and functionality
- Set up data integrations supporting Marketing Automation journeys across channels such as email, push notifications, and online advertising
- Optimize campaigns for deliverability, engagement, and responsiveness across devices and email clients
- Apply email marketing best practices and stay informed about industry trends
- Execute quality assurance checks on campaigns and collaborate with the quality team
- Engage with stakeholders to understand requirements and provide tailored solutions
- Develop new processes for in-house campaign management and automation
- Test and troubleshoot email rendering issues across multiple email clients and devices
- Apply knowledge of Litmus or Email on Acid for email testing and troubleshooting
- Use SQL, AmpScript, HTML5, CSS, and JavaScript to build dynamic content
Desired Skill-Set
- 2+ years of Salesforce Marketing Cloud email development experience
- 2+ years of working with responsive HTML emails, CSS, and media queries
- 1+ years of experience using AmpScript within SFMC for dynamic content
- Proficiency with Email Studio, CloudPage Studio, and Mobile Studio
- Familiarity with Data Extensions, Journey Builder, and Automation Studio
- Knowledge of email testing tools such as Litmus or Email on Acid
- Troubleshooting skills for email rendering issues across devices and clients
- Ability to work with data, using Excel and SFMC for testing scenarios
- Experience with SQL, HTML5, CSS, and JavaScript
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Marketing, or a related field
Nice to Have
- Salesforce Marketing Cloud certifications (Email Specialist, Developer)
- Experience within the financial services industry
