Working with one of our top financial clients, this role calls for a DevSecOps Engineer-Cryptographic Services/CISSP. This position involves designing, developing, and deploying enterprise cryptographic automation solutions to enhance security and operational efficiency. The successful candidate will play a critical role in safeguarding organizational data through innovative cryptographic operations and automation.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and deploy automated cryptographic workflows for certificate and key management.
- Automate cryptographic services such as key generation, distribution, rotation, and retirement.
- Develop APIs and automation frameworks for seamless integration of cryptographic functions into enterprise applications and CI/CD pipelines.
- Evaluate, validate, and certify cryptographic solutions to ensure compliance with security, risk, and operational standards.
- Write secure, efficient, and maintainable code using languages like Python, PowerShell, and Bash.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation of workflows, procedures, and standards.
- Contribute to enterprise cryptographic standards, policies, and best practices.
Desired Skill-Set
- 8+ years of experience in security-related technology.
- 3+ years of experience in Security Engineering, DevSecOps, SRE, Infrastructure Engineering, or Software Engineering with automation focus.
- 5+ years of scripting experience in Python, PowerShell, and Bash.
- 5+ years of experience with automation and Infrastructure-as-Code tools such as Ansible, Terraform, Jenkins, or GitHub Actions.
- Strong communication skills (written and verbal).
- Excellent time management and prioritization abilities.
- Attention to detail and self-starting, adaptable mindset.
Nice to Have
- CISSP certification.
- Experience in designing automation solutions for certificate lifecycle and cryptographic operations.
- Deep understanding of cryptographic fundamentals, including symmetric/asymmetric encryption, PKI, TLS/SSL, digital signatures, and hashing algorithms.
- Experience supporting Linux and/or Windows server environments.
