Working with one of our top financial clients, this role calls for an Sr. .NET/C# Developer – Banking. This position involves supporting and enhancing automated systems, delivering business reporting solutions, and providing high-quality customer service within a critical data management team. This contract offers the potential for extension and growth opportunities in a dynamic environment.
Pay rate range (CAD): $72.46/hr – $86.96/hr
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain automation solutions to optimize data collection, storage, and retrieval processes
- Develop and enhance business reporting tools to provide timely and accurate insights for internal stakeholders
- Collaborate with business users to gather requirements and translate them into effective technical solutions
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance to internal clients
- Ensure development activities comply with security, privacy, and regulatory standards
- Partner with IT and business teams to drive continuous improvement and innovation
Desired Skill-Set
- Over 5 years of proven software engineering experience, preferably in financial services or data management
- Extensive technical experience with .NET, C# (version 8 or higher)
- Strong background in SQL Server, TSQL, SSMS
- At least 3 years of experience with Python programming
- Knowledge of Microsoft Azure Cloud, GIT, and DevOps practices for a minimum of 3 years
- 2+ years of experience with Data Bricks
- Familiarity with automation frameworks, data reporting tools, and database technologies
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and customer service skills
Nice to Have
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
