Working with one of our top financial clients, this role calls for an Agile Delivery Manager – Technical Projects . In this position, you will oversee the delivery of maintenance applications within a dynamic technology team, setting up and refining Agile processes, managing dependencies, and coordinating releases to ensure seamless application performance. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and vendors to deliver high-quality solutions on time and within budget.
Responsibilities
- Facilitate Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, reviews, retrospectives, and daily stand-ups
- Manage and prioritize the product backlog, ensuring stories are well-defined and refined
- Coordinate release activities, dependencies, and milestones across teams
- Track project finances and allocations using Clarity or similar tools
- Communicate project progress, risks, and issues to leadership personnel
- Collaborate effectively with developers, QA, stakeholders, and other teams
- Ensure adherence to Definition of Ready and Definition of Done standards
- Manage incoming project requests, dependencies, and release schedules
- Support the setup and refinement of Agile workflows and best practices
Desired Skill-Set
- Proven experience as a Scrum Master or Agile Delivery Manager in a technical environment
- Strong understanding of Agile frameworks and methodologies
- Hands-on experience with Jira or similar Agile management tools
- Proficiency in sprint and Kanban management, backlog grooming, and release planning
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
- Ability to effectively manage dependencies and coordinate cross-functional teams
- Experience managing project budgets, including financial tracking
- Strong organizational and leadership skills in fast-paced settings
Nice to Have
- Scrum certification
- Banking or financial services industry experience
- Experience managing project budgets of approximately $1M
- Knowledge of SRE or application support environments
