Working with one of our top financial clients, this role calls for an IT Business Analyst – Vulnerability & Reporting with a strong foundation in governance, reporting, process improvement, and automation within IT Asset Management. The successful candidate will support strategic initiatives, develop and maintain process documentation, create dashboards and reports, and help optimize operational workflows to enhance business efficiency.
Pay rate range (CAD): $36.23/hr – $43.48/hr
Responsibilities:
- Support governance activities during audits and regulatory reviews
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders on strategic initiatives
- Build effective working relationships across various teams
- Exercise sound judgment to identify and resolve issues
- Develop and maintain procedures, workflows, and end-user training materials
- Identify opportunities for process automation and enhancement
- Produce executive and management reports using Power BI and other Microsoft tools
- Create dashboards, visualizations, and reports to support decision-making
- Analyze data to identify trends, patterns, and insights
- Translate business requirements into reporting and analytical solutions
- Support automation of recurring reporting and business processes
- Assist in evaluating and implementing tools to improve operational efficiency
- Work independently on non-routine situations and demonstrate proactive problem-solving
- Ensure compliance with organizational policies, standards, and regulatory requirements
- Perform additional duties as assigned
Desired Skill-Set:
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Experience automating business processes with Microsoft 365 tools such as SharePoint, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving abilities
- Strong documentation skills for processes, procedures, and requirements
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities efficiently
Nice to Have:
- Power BI dashboard development and reporting experience
- Python coding and automation expertise
- Power Automate experience
