Working with one of our top financial clients, this role calls for a Banking Associate-Trade Settlement-CSC. This position involves handling day-to-day financial operations within a collaborative team environment, focusing on mutual fund transactions, compliance, and operational support to ensure accurate and efficient processing.
Pay rate range (CAD): $17.60/hr – $30.71/hr
Responsibilities
- Process mutual fund trades and settlements accurately and efficiently
- Investigate and resolve transaction breaks and discrepancies promptly
- Manage FundSERV transactions and facilitate money movements
- Utilize Excel macros to support operational workflows
- Respond to client inquiries and provide excellent customer service
- Maintain compliance with operational and regulatory procedures
- Participate in daily stand-ups and cross-team communications
- Engage with internal teams and external stakeholders as needed
- Handle sensitive customer data securely and responsibly
Desired Skill-Set
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (formulas, pivots, macros)
- 2-3 years of banking or financial services experience
- Tech-savvy with the ability to quickly learn internal systems
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
- Attention to detail and critical thinking skills
- Knowledge of federal, provincial, and organizational policies and procedures
- Experience with computer applications including Microsoft Word and Outlook
Nice to Have
- Experience with trade settlements and FundSERV
- Canadian Securities Course (CSC) designation
- Familiarity with regulatory compliance frameworks in financial services
- Prior experience working in mutual fund operations
- Ability to adapt quickly to process changes and new systems
