QA Specialist – Generative AI

Working with one of the top financial clients, this role calls for a QA Specialist – Generative AI who will be working closely with all applications, common services/middleware, and infrastructure teams throughout the development/engineering lifecycle. This candidate will design, develop, execute, and maintain test plans of Wealth, Treasury and Finance applications.
Responsibilities:
- Records and documents testing results and compares them to expected results. Detects solution failures so that defects may be discovered and corrected.
- Generates historical analysis of test results and maintains a list/repository of defects.
- This individual would regularly interact with QA's from other teams within the client and with external vendors.
- Coordinates with the appropriate parties to create test plans, execute the test plan, monitor progress, and escalate as required
- Experience with creating test cases and requirements traceability.
- Assists with the creation of synthetic data for SIT testing. Any exposure to using GenAI to create synthetic test data would be highly preferable.
- Coordinates the work of SIT and UAT testers and ensures defects are being entered in ALM.
- Coordinates with developers to conduct root cause analysis and resolve defects in a timely manner.
- Work closely with the PM to track QA activities and provide status updates regularly.
Desired Skill Set:
- Test data creation. Exposure to GenAI to generate test data would be an asset.
- Data analysis/modelling skills
- Strong understanding of Wealth and Finance systems
- Hands-on experience with SQL – writing, executing complex queries and analyzing results
- Test metrics understanding and creation
- Prior experience with large migration and modernization projects
