Working with one of the top financial clients, this role calls for a Project Coordinator/Risk Management/Procurement who will be responsible for oversight of the unit's governance, risk, compliance and internal controls activities. This candidate will spend full time performing the tasks (and also support the manager who is accountable for deliverables). The position will play a key role in supporting initiatives related to the Risk Framework Enhancement Program.
Responsibilities:
- Reviewing and updating policies and procedures
- Developing reporting metrics and training materials
- Assisting with performance management and stakeholder management
- Other projects and compliance requirements as assigned
Desired Skill Set:
- 5 years of experience in Project Management
- Risk management experience
- Compliance and regulatory environment experience
Nice To Have:
- Banking/FI experience
- Procurement experience
- Internal audit controls exposure
- PMP considered an asset (including those in progress)
