Working with a leading insurance provider, this role calls for a BSA – Guidewire who will play a pivotal role in driving requirements for digital client-facing applications. The successful candidate will collaborate across design, product, and API teams to document clear and consumable requirements that fuel effective development delivery. This role requires strong insurance domain expertise, experience with Guidewire systems (PolicyCenter essential, BillingCenter nice to have), and the ability to support multiple Agile PODs in a fast-paced, SAFe-driven environment.

Responsibilities

  • Gather, analyze, and document system requirements for digital applications and integrations (Guidewire, APIs, microservices).
  • Break down epics into user stories and participate in backlog refinement sessions.
  • Partner with Product Owners, Design, and API teams to ensure requirements are complete and development-ready.
  • Support quarterly planning by refining epics and ensuring at least 3 sprints of user stories are prepared.
  • Manage priorities proactively, including defect analysis and release planning.
  • Act as a critical liaison between business and technology teams to maintain alignment and clarity.

Desired Skill Set

  • Insurance domain expertise – mandatory (Property & Casualty strongly preferred).
  • Hands-on experience with Guidewire systems (PolicyCenter essential; BillingCenter nice to have).
  • Strong knowledge of Agile processes and SAFe frameworks.
  • Experience with digital platforms and microservices architecture.
  • Proven track record of delivering high-quality, precise requirements with no ambiguity.
  • Familiarity with quarterly planning processes, including pre-work, execution, and outcomes.
  • Strong collaboration and stakeholder management abilities.
  • Excellent communication skills – written and verbal.
  • Proactive, problem-solving mindset with attention to detail.
