Are you an experienced sourcing professional with proven expertise in vendor management, contract negotiation, and executive stakeholder engagement?

Working with one of the top financial clients, this role calls for an IT Vendor Manager – Contract Negotiation who will lead sourcing strategies, manage senior executive relationships, and drive negotiations with top-tier vendors to optimize value and mitigate risks. The successful candidate will bring strong experience in sourcing and procurement within financial institutions, deep expertise in contract management, and the ability to influence stakeholders at the highest levels.

Responsibilities:

  • Act as a liaison with business executives, providing sourcing expertise and recommendations that optimize strategies to meet organizational objectives.
  • Lead supplier negotiations to maximize total cost of ownership and deliver strong business outcomes.
  • Manage category and strategic sourcing initiatives to support business priorities and mitigate organizational risks.
  • Ensure sourcing programs and procurement practices align with enterprise frameworks, compliance, and risk appetite.
  • Maintain strong relationship management across business lines, corporate functions, and control functions to ensure regulatory and enterprise alignment.
  • Promote a culture of risk management, compliance, and control, ensuring adherence to financial controls and procurement governance.
  • Contribute to a positive and collaborative team environment, sharing knowledge, and promoting innovation and service excellence.
  • Provide compelling business insights and influence senior stakeholders through executive-level presentations and recommendations.

Desired Skill Set:

  • Advanced negotiation skills with experience in complex IT contract negotiations.
  • Proven experience in strategic sourcing, procurement, and supplier development.
  • Strong background in contract negotiation and management, including performance metrics.
  • Expertise in risk management related to sourcing and supply chain.
  • Excellent relationship management, communication, and executive presentation skills.
  • Proven ability to manage senior executive relationships and influence decision-making.

Nice-to-Have:

  • Experience with Ariba SAP and Coupa Risk platforms.
  • Previous financial industry sourcing experience with top-tier vendors.
