Project Control Officer

Working with one of the top financial clients, this role calls for a Project Control Officer who will coordinate across OTC derivatives operations, settlements, and confirmations teams. The role involves engaging with subject matter experts, ensuring smooth knowledge transition to vendor teams, and working with internal project teams to map out workflows and key deliverables. The successful candidate will play a vital role in ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and operational excellence in project execution.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate with OTC derivatives operations, settlements, and confirmations teams to capture and document subject matter expertise.
- Transition knowledge and processes to vendor teams effectively.
- Collaborate with internal project teams to define, map, and deliver project workflows.
- Ensure deliverables are aligned with project objectives, timelines, and stakeholder expectations.
- Track, monitor, and report on project progress to stakeholders.
- Support risk identification and escalation where needed to maintain compliance and quality.
Desired Skill Set
- Experience in OTC derivatives operations.
- Strong project management skills with a proven track record of execution.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
Nice to Haves
- Experience with Calypso.
- Professional certifications such as PMP, CFA, or MBA.
- Hands-on experience with Book of Record project implementation.
