HR Analyst

Working with one of the top financial clients, this role calls for an HR Analyst who will play a key role in supporting the Mandatory Training Program through data analysis, reporting, issue resolution, and continuous process improvement. Reporting to the Team Manager, Global Escalations, the successful candidate will be responsible for executing and enhancing reporting and escalation processes, resolving learner issues, and maintaining compliance with regulatory training standards. This position requires strong analytical and communication skills, proficiency in Excel and automation tools, and a solid understanding of Learning Management Systems (LMS) and compliance-driven training operations.
Responsibilities:
- Respond to and resolve learner inquiries and escalations through the HR Help Desk within defined service level agreements.
- Ensure end-to-end issue management processes are followed, engaging multiple stakeholders as needed.
- Troubleshoot issues, provide clear next steps, and ensure positive learner experiences while maintaining compliance standards.
- Monitor and analyze trends in training escalations, identify root causes, and recommend enhancements or remediation actions.
- Evaluate HR data sources for accuracy, completeness, and consistency to support high-quality reporting.
- Demonstrate subject matter expertise in Mandatory Training programs and follow-up processes.
- Maintain accurate participation and completion records in alignment with global regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with peers to improve monitoring, follow-up, and escalation procedures for Mandatory Training compliance.
- Manage course removal and exception requests while ensuring adherence to established policies.
- Leverage LMS and online learning systems to troubleshoot technical issues and support learners effectively.
- Execute and enhance reporting and escalation processes to optimize efficiency and data reliability.
Desired Skill Set:
- 1–2 years of experience in reporting, analytics, or data management, including data extraction and manipulation in Excel.
- Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel (VLOOKUPs, mail merges, pivot tables, conditional formatting, Power Automate exposure).
- Experience working in Learning & Development environments with hands-on knowledge of Learning Management Systems (LMS).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex datasets and identify trends.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to influence cross-functional decisions.
- Knowledge of risk management standards, compliance frameworks, and regulatory environments.
- Proven ability to balance learner experience with business and compliance requirements.
Nice to Have:
- Basic knowledge of compliance, legal, and regulatory frameworks.
- Familiarity with enterprise governance processes, HR systems, and policy-driven training requirements.
