Working with one of the top financial clients, this role calls for a Communication Surveillance – Behavox professional who will design, manage, and support communication surveillance systems that ensure compliance with regulatory standards and protect the firm from reputational risk. The successful candidate will work with Compliance, Legal, and Technology teams to enhance platform functionality, resolve user issues, and support business initiatives related to surveillance and monitoring. This position demands strong technical expertise in cloud platforms, data analysis, and communication tools, along with excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

Responsibilities:

  • Resolve platform and system issues promptly to ensure business continuity.
  • Lead and participate in projects aimed at enhancing communication surveillance platforms and addressing evolving business requirements.
  • Handle user requests and ensure they align with technical and business needs.
  • Collaborate with vendors to ensure system accessibility, functionality, and performance.
  • Serve as a system administrator and provide technical support for communication surveillance technologies.
  • Support cloud engineering initiatives, ensuring scalability, security, and operational reliability.
  • Execute engineering strategies to automate configuration, build, and deployment activities.
  • Work cross-functionally with partners in Compliance, Legal, and IT to deliver solutions aligned with enterprise standards and regulatory expectations.
  • Maintain and improve documentation, workflows, and technical configurations for communication surveillance systems.
  • Proactively identify risks, process inefficiencies, and opportunities for automation and optimization.
  • Manage and monitor system performance metrics to ensure compliance with SLAs.
  • Provide ongoing user support, including configuration, training, and issue resolution.
  • Stay up to date on emerging surveillance technologies, vendor tools, and industry trends.

Desired Skill Set:

  • 3+ years of experience with Jira for project and issue tracking.
  • 3–5 years of experience with cloud solutions such as Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud Services.
  • Strong understanding of communication surveillance systems and related compliance frameworks.
  • Experience working on complex engineering projects involving data formats, integration, and automation.
  • Solid data experience with the ability to analyze, interpret, and act on system information.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to work across business and technology teams.
  • Proficiency in troubleshooting, problem-solving, and stakeholder engagement.

Nice to Have:

  • Experience with Behavox, Smarsh, Global Relay, Theta Lake, or Mobius vendor solutions (3+ years preferred).
  • Familiarity with communication platforms such as Bloomberg, Microsoft Teams, and MS Exchange.
  • Exposure to software development, testing, and implementation lifecycles.
  • Understanding of analytical concepts such as databases, indexes, lexicons, scenarios, and models.
  • Basic cybersecurity knowledge and understanding of data protection principles.
  • Experience with scripting and working with data interfaces (e.g., XML, CSV, EML, API).
  • Previous banking or financial services experience is an asset.
