Working with one of our top financial clients, this role calls for a Risk Analyst/Repos & Derivatives/SACCR who will support governance, control, and risk management functions in alignment with regulatory and internal standards. The successful candidate will conduct ad-hoc exposure analysis, manage operational risk, ensure internal control processes are well documented, and act as a key contributor in reporting and monitoring counterparty credit risk. This role requires strong analytical skills, a solid understanding of security financing transactions, and familiarity with SACCR methodology, along with excellent communication and presentation skills.

Responsibilities:

  • Act as a subject matter expert for risk and mapping responsibilities related to daily, monthly, and quarterly OSFI B2/SCCL large exposures reporting.
  • Generate accurate and complete OSFI B2/SCCL reports, including management reporting and counterparty credit limit monitoring.
  • Review and research data mappings for business, client, product, and legal entities to support regulatory reporting.
  • Execute infrastructure changes tied to new or revised policies, products, or processes.
  • Provide analysis, reporting, and monitoring of risk exposures and escalate production issues in accordance with internal standards.
  • Ensure late or missing reports and process metrics are properly recorded, documented, and explained.
  • Propose, plan, and lead process improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and business support.
  • Ensure internal control processes are adequate and documented as per governance standards.
  • Manage operational risk through cross-training, documentation, and audit readiness.
  • Liaise with front office traders, Credit Risk Management, Global Counterparty Credit, audit, and technology teams to meet business objectives.
  • Perform ad-hoc analyses of metrics, exposures, and transactions as requested by stakeholders.
  • Maintain strong understanding of analytical principles for credit risk and risk modeling of financial products.

Desired Skill Set

  • Proven experience in analysis of risk exposure.
  • Strong understanding of financial products, including repo, reverse repo, and security lending.
  • Deep knowledge of SACCR methodology and the comprehensive approach to risk exposure.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in reporting.
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Suite, including Access, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to work independently, multitask, and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong organizational and leadership skills with the ability to influence and collaborate across teams.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with Python and SQL.
  • CFA or FRM certification.
  • Prior experience in a risk management role.
  • Advanced Excel, SQL, or VBA skills.
