Jr. BA – Legal & Real Estate Operations

Working with one of our top financial clients, this role calls for a Jr. BA – Legal & Real Estate Operations who will support legal, regulatory, and real estate documentation processes. The successful candidate will ensure that a large volume of legal and corporate documents are vetted, filed, and maintained accurately while ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and good standing of corporate entities. This role requires excellent organizational and communication skills, familiarity with business and legal terminology, and the ability to work collaboratively with external law firms, asset managers, and internal stakeholders.
Responsibilities:
- Review and vet large volumes of legal and corporate documentation to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Ensure all corporate entities are in good standing and regulatory filings are completed in a timely manner.
- Coordinate with external law firms and asset managers on corporate maintenance matters for legal entities holding portfolio investments.
- Assist with the execution of corporate maintenance and transaction documents related to acquisitions, dispositions, and financings.
- Handle third-party and internal stakeholder inquiries and follow up as required.
- Maintain and organize files with a robust tracking and follow-up system.
- Support governance matters across legal and real estate portfolios.
- Demonstrate a team-oriented attitude with accountability and confidentiality.
- Collaborate closely with investment, finance, operations, and legal teams to support ongoing deliverables.
- Perform other duties as assigned to support the legal and real estate operations function.
Desired Skill Set:
- Knowledge of business and legal terminology.
- Experience with Adobe and Microsoft applications (Outlook, Word, Excel).
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Experience handling complex commercial real estate transactions.
- Excellent time management, organizational, and analytical skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in legal documentation and filing.
Nice to Have:
- Notary Public appointment.
- Legal Assistant diploma, office administration certificate, or equivalent.
- 1–3 years of relevant experience within legal, corporate governance, or real estate operations.
