Working with one of our top financial clients, this role calls for an IT Scrum Master – Capital Markets who will play a pivotal role in leading Agile delivery across technology and business teams. This position requires a hands-on leader who is proactive in removing impediments, maintains alignment between stakeholders, and fosters continuous improvement within multiple delivery teams.

Responsibilities:

  • Facilitate demos and feedback sessions, ensuring stakeholder expectations are managed effectively.
  • Maintain up-to-date Agile tooling (e.g., Jira, Confluence) and ensure data accuracy for reporting.
  • Publish performance metrics including sprint burndown, velocity, cumulative flow, and WIP tracking.
  • Prepare concise weekly updates summarizing accomplishments, plans, and risks.
  • Coach teams and Product Owners on Agile best practices, backlog refinement, and prioritization.
  • Enforce Scrum values and prevent anti-patterns such as over-commitment or scope creep.
  • Drive continuous improvement by implementing actionable insights from retrospectives.

  • Strong experience with Jira and Confluence (5+ years).
  • Experience with Clarity or similar project portfolio management tools (3+ years).
  • Proven ability to manage multiple concurrent teams and complex dependencies.
  • Excellent communication, facilitation, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to forecast delivery outcomes based on empirical data and proactively highlight variances.

Nice to Have:

  • Experience in Capital Markets or Financial Services.
  • Exposure to Eclipse or similar development environments.
  • Working knowledge of Golang or related technologies.
