Procurement Specialist/Banking

Working with one of our top banking clients, this role calls for a Procurement Specialist/Banking who will lead end-to-end sourcing initiatives, develop category strategies, and build strong relationships with both internal stakeholders and external suppliers. The successful candidate will act as a trusted advisor, driving cost optimization, process efficiency, and strategic value across procurement operations.
Responsibilities:

Act as a trusted advisor to business partners, primarily within People & Culture, providing strategic procurement leadership and advisory support.

Lead end-to-end sourcing initiatives, including competitive events (RFI/RFP), supplier selection, and contract negotiations.

Develop and execute category management frameworks and long-term sourcing plans aligned with enterprise goals.

Conduct market assessments to identify preferred suppliers, evaluate risks, and recommend sourcing solutions.

Build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external suppliers to drive innovation and value creation.

Collaborate with Legal, Compliance, and Risk teams to incorporate supplier risk assessments into agreements.

Apply disciplined procurement methodologies and ensure compliance with policies and controls.

Use data-driven insights and performance metrics to inform strategic recommendations and track progress.

Contribute to continuous improvement by identifying opportunities to enhance procurement processes and deliver measurable impact.

Stay current with leading procurement practices, trends, and sourcing methodologies.
Desired Skill Set:

3–5 years of relevant experience in strategic sourcing, procurement, and contract negotiations.

Strong knowledge of sourcing and procurement processes, governance, and risk controls.

Proven ability to lead end-to-end sourcing and contract negotiation processes.

Strong business analysis and project delivery experience within large, complex organizations.

Proficiency in Excel and data analysis to support decision-making.

Excellent communication, collaboration, and influence skills with a proven ability to build strong stakeholder relationships.

Highly organized, analytical, and detail-oriented, with a problem-solving and solution-driven mindset.

Demonstrated ability to work independently and develop strategic plans based on business analysis.
Nice to Have:
