Program Manager- Testing

Working with one of our leading financial clients, this role calls for a Program Manager – Testing to define and manage the Quality Assurance (QA) strategy and roadmap for the Concorde Program — a high-impact, multi-stream initiative focused on driving operational efficiency and productivity improvement. The successful candidate will lead the creation and execution of SIT, UAT, PAT, and E2E testing strategies, ensuring consistent alignment across workstreams and program objectives.
Responsibilities:

Lead the creation and execution of end-to-end Testing Roadmaps and SIT, UAT, PAT test strategies by partnering with testing managers and leads across multiple work packages.

Develop and implement program-level QA frameworks to ensure standardization, traceability, and quality alignment across all testing activities.

Build and maintain strong stakeholder relationships across business and technology teams, fostering clear communication and alignment.

Design and deliver QA summary dashboards and executive reports to communicate progress, risks, and testing outcomes.

Operate effectively within a matrix environment, influencing and collaborating across diverse teams to achieve testing goals.

Identify and mitigate testing risks, proactively addressing issues impacting timelines, environments, or deliverables.

Leverage creative problem-solving to thrive in ambiguity, connect strategic goals to execution, and adapt QA processes as needed.

Champion continuous improvement and operational excellence through effective governance and best practices in QA delivery.
Must Have:
-
10+ years of experience in software development testing, automation, and software process improvement.

10+ years of expert-level understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies.

Proven success managing QA in both Waterfall and Agile environments, with hands-on experience using HP ALM.

10+ years of experience in financial services, leading large-scale QA programs and developing QA roadmaps, strategies, and plans for complex initiatives.

Demonstrated experience as a Program-Level Test Lead, managing multiple QA workstreams and competing environment demands.

Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to engage senior stakeholders and resolve QA-related challenges effectively.
Nice to Have:

PMP certification or equivalent project/program management credential.

Knowledge of Cheque Processing systems (e.g., Day 1, Day 2, RDC).

Retail Banking domain experience.
