Communications Specialist/Asset Management

Working with one of our top financial clients, this role calls for a Communications Specialist/Asset Management who can develop and deliver impactful, audience-focused content that supports the client's strategic objectives. The successful candidate will bring exceptional writing skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple projects while collaborating across marketing, sales, product, and compliance teams.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement comprehensive communication plans for various business initiatives, including sales campaigns, product launches, and events.
- Act as the communications lead on projects, providing strategic counsel and ensuring communication plans align with the client's business objectives.
- Draft, edit, and proofread a wide range of materials such as sales tools, brochures, newsletters, product overviews, press releases, and web copy.
- Collaborate with internal partners to identify and implement content distribution efficiencies across multiple channels.
- Contribute to the development of content standards related to tone, design, and audience relevance.
- Maintain a strong understanding of clients' products, including mutual funds and ETFs, and stay informed of industry and market trends.
- Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including sales, product, legal, compliance, and creative teams.
- Oversee BAU (business-as-usual) communications and regular publications as required.
Desired Skill Set:
- Proven ability to craft professional, targeted communications supporting business goals.
- Exceptional writing, editing, and presentation skills with strong attention to clarity and tone.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel), SharePoint, and Adobe Acrobat Pro.
- Familiarity with digital and social media platforms.
- 2+ years of experience in the investment industry, with exposure to mutual funds, ETFs, or asset management.
Nice-to-Have :
- Bilingualism (English/French) is an asset.
