Digital Marketing Consultant/Retail Insurance

Working with one of our top financial clients, this role calls for a Digital Marketing Consultant/Retail Insurance who combines analytical thinking, creativity, and a deep understanding of digital marketing performance. You will collaborate with internal teams and external partners to develop, execute, and measure impactful campaigns across multiple channels — ensuring alignment with business objectives and brand standards.
Responsibilities:
- Support the development of the annual marketing roadmap for Retail Insurance, including tactical priorities and forecasted targets.
 - Assist in the creation, implementation, and ongoing review of marketing plans, identifying opportunities for improvement.
 - Develop and execute campaigns to launch and sustain sales for new products.
 - Collaborate with Enterprise Marketing teams to identify cross-promotion opportunities and enhance overall campaign performance.
 - Ensure all marketing initiatives deliver a cohesive and customer-centric experience across digital touchpoints.
 - Lead campaign development, budgeting, and target setting for integrated marketing programs.
 - Manage digital marketing execution across paid media channels, including search, social, and display.
 - Oversee performance measurement and optimization of marketing campaigns to maximize results.
 - Partner with agencies and internal stakeholders to deliver on business goals and maintain campaign quality.
 - Ensure all creative assets and communications meet brand, legal, and compliance requirements.
 - Track timelines, budgets, and deliverables to ensure successful project completion.
 - Build and maintain strong relationships with internal teams and external vendors.
 - Act as a liaison between business, marketing, and technology teams to ensure alignment and effective communication.
 - Represent the digital experience in cross-functional discussions and ensure strategic integration with corporate marketing initiatives.
 - Monitor all marketing communications to ensure adherence to compliance, privacy, and brand standards.
 - Manage and track marketing budgets, providing regular updates and financial reporting.
 - Secure necessary approvals for promotional campaigns and ensure all materials meet disclosure requirements.
 
Desired Skill Set:
- Hands-on experience with digital analytics tools (Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics).
 - Familiarity with Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Adobe DMP, and media mix modelling tools.
 - Technical proficiency with digital marketing platforms such as Google Marketing Platforms, Meta, LinkedIn, Reddit, and X.
 - Experience managing digital creative development and campaign landing pages.
 - Strong understanding of integrated marketing communications and data-driven optimization.
 - Excellent project management, communication, and presentation skills.
 - Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
 - Experience in the insurance or financial services industry preferred.
 - Experience managing or working with advertising agencies is an asset.
 - 3–5+ years of experience in marketing, with at least 2 years in digital acquisition or media planning.
 - Post-secondary degree in Marketing, Business, or a related discipline.
 - Proven success driving measurable results through digital acquisition campaigns.
 - Experience working in large organizations or financial institutions is an asset.
