Financial Data & Systems Analyst – PowerApps

Working with one of our top financial clients, this role calls for a Financial Data & Systems Analyst – PowerApps with experience managing financial data and systems within collaborative and fast-paced teams. You will support the organization’s portfolio management function by ensuring accurate, accessible, and compliant financial data across multiple platforms, while developing innovative automation and reporting solutions.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with and resolve SharePoint and PowerApps requests.
- Support system upgrades, integrations, and automation initiatives to improve reporting and analytics capabilities.
- Conduct technical investigations and resolve complex system and application issues.
- Validate funding requests and review contracts to ensure financial compliance.
- Maintain and enhance financial data structures and repositories for accuracy, consistency, and regulatory compliance.
- Develop and enforce data governance standards in partnership with Finance, IT, and Business Enablement teams.
Desired Skill Set:
- Post-secondary degree in a relevant field.
- 3+ years of experience with SharePoint.
- 3+ years of experience with PowerApps.
- 3+ years of experience with Power BI.
- Strong ability to investigate and resolve complex technical issues, applying analytical thinking and coding expertise.
- Skilled in debugging, root cause analysis, and implementing robust solutions to ensure system stability and performance.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a high-volume environment.
- Excellent communication skills, flexibility, and a positive, proactive mindset.
Nice-to-Have:
- Previous financial analyst experience.
- Business management background.
- Experience supporting systems development or modernization projects.
- SQL experience and familiarity with databases or other programming languages.
- Strong technical foundation and analytical approach to problem-solving.
