Intermediate Fullstack Developer-Banking/Angular
Are you an experienced Fullstack Developer with a strong background in Java and modern JavaScript frameworks looking to contribute to cutting-edge banking applications? This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on full lifecycle application development, from design to deployment, for one of our top financial clients.
Working with one of our top financial clients, this role calls for an Intermediate Fullstack Developer-Banking/Angular who will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining complex web applications using Angular 7+, Java EE 8, and other modern technologies. This candidate will collaborate with cross-functional teams in an Agile environment to deliver scalable and secure solutions that enhance customer and business experiences.
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain end-to-end fullstack applications using Java and Angular frameworks.
- Participate in application architecture, coding, debugging, and performance tuning.
- Collaborate with product managers, designers, and backend teams to deliver high-quality software solutions.
- Utilize DevOps tools and CI/CD pipelines for continuous integration, testing, and deployment.
- Ensure code quality and maintainability through best practices, including version control and automated testing.
- Work within an Agile development environment, contributing to sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
- Support application deployment and troubleshooting across distributed systems and environments.
Desired Skill Set:
- Strong knowledge of Java and Java EE 8 for backend development.
- Proficiency with JavaScript frameworks, including Angular 7+ / AngularJS 1.2 / NodeJS / ReactJS / Redux.
- Experience working with Tomcat / JBoss application servers and MS SQL databases.
- Familiarity with DevOps tools and best practices, such as Git/Bitbucket, JIRA, Maven, Jenkins.
- Understanding of Agile development methodologies and ability to work effectively within sprints.
- Knowledge of Azure environments and CI/CD deployments.
- Ability to manage multiple initiatives and work collaboratively across distributed teams and time zones.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly.
Nice-to-Have:
- 2+ years of experience developing Front-End Web UI Solutions.
- Hands-on experience deploying applications in cloud environments (Azure preferred).
- Exposure to banking or financial services application development.
