Are you an experienced Business Systems Analyst who excels at translating complex business requirements into clear technical solutions within the regulatory and compliance space? This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on critical Anti Money Laundering (AML) initiatives for one of our top financial clients, supporting data-driven compliance and reporting solutions.

Working with a leading financial institution, this position calls for a BSA – Anti Money Laundering who will collaborate with business stakeholders, compliance teams, and IT partners to analyze, map, and manage AML data. The ideal candidate will have a strong mix of business analysis, systems analysis, and data management skills to ensure accuracy and compliance with evolving regulatory standards.

Responsibilities:

  • Gather, analyze, and document business requirements from AML, compliance, and technology stakeholders.

  • Collaborate with both business and IT teams to translate requirements into functional and technical specifications.

  • Review data to determine requirements for AML processes and regulatory reporting.

  • Understand data complexities, including how data is stored, accessed, and transformed across systems.

  • Conduct data mapping, profiling, and validation to ensure integrity and traceability of AML data.

  • Support end-to-end process mapping and identify improvement opportunities within data management workflows.

  • Facilitate workshops and walkthroughs to ensure business alignment and solution clarity.

  • Provide insights and recommendations to enhance AML data reporting, compliance accuracy, and operational efficiency.

Desired Skill Set:

  • 7–10 years of experience as a Business Analyst or Business Systems Analyst, preferably within financial services or AML domains.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a deep understanding of data analysis and data governance.

  • Hands-on experience with data mapping, data management, and basic SQL for data validation and reporting.

  • Proven ability to elicit and document detailed business and system requirements.

  • Experience with end-to-end process mapping and translating business needs into technical specifications.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to bridge the gap between business and technology teams.

  • Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, fast-paced, and regulated environment.
