Project Control Officer
Are you an organized and detail-oriented Project Control Officer with strong experience supporting enterprise programs and managing project governance activities? This role offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to a high-visibility onboarding program, collaborate with multiple business and technology teams, and support executive reporting and operational processes within a major financial institution.
Working with one of our top financial clients, this position calls for a Project Control Officer who will oversee project control processes, maintain governance standards, manage dashboards and reporting, and support onboarding lifecycle activities. The ideal candidate will bring strong experience with Clarity, Jira, ServiceNow, Power BI, and Confluence, along with the ability to coordinate tasks, manage documentation, and ensure smooth execution of program activities.
Responsibilities:
- Create Epics as requested by the Onboarding team, upload task lists, and assign tasks to line-of-business resources.
- Monitor project plans and milestones, maintaining and updating the onboarding dashboard.
- Troubleshoot and create new ConfiForms as needed.
- Develop template decks for Quarterly Townhalls, ensure all content is included and aligned to client’s brand standards, and coordinate with guest speakers to integrate their slides.
- Assist with access requests and support onboarding operational tasks.
- Review new intake requests, identify technology requirements and project scope, follow up as needed, and determine priority.
- Create pipeline IDs, close ServiceNow tasks, and maintain corresponding Confluence “wiki” pages.
- Support new resources by requesting access, forwarding meetings, sending welcome emails, adding to distribution lists, and troubleshooting access issues.
- Submit on/off-boarding forms for new resources and manage ongoing onboarding support.
- Create template pages for business update reports and update them with newly added application codes.
- Conduct analysis and prepare reports for the AVP.
- Build and update dashboards for management reporting.
- Run Clarity reports to ensure accurate time entry, identify missing hours, and follow up with team members.
Desired Skill Set:
- Proficiency with Clarity for reporting and time tracking.
- Strong experience with Jira for task and project management.
- Hands-on experience with Power BI for dashboard creation and reporting.
- Experience with ServiceNow including creating CRs, running queries, and understanding demand process flows.
- Strong working knowledge of Confluence and SharePoint for documentation and content management.

- Experience working within a financial institution or banking environment.
