Sr Project Manager – Enterprise Cloud Migration
Are you an experienced senior project leader with deep expertise in financial governance, change control, and executive-level stakeholder management within large enterprise programs? This role offers the opportunity to support a major Enterprise Cloud Migration initiative, overseeing complex program financials, driving change governance, and partnering closely with senior leaders across multiple workstreams.
Working with one of our top financial clients, the Sr Project Manager – Enterprise Cloud Migration will serve as a key strategic partner within the Program Management Office (PMO), ensuring accuracy, alignment, and predictability across financials, schedules, and change controls. The ideal candidate is proactive, detail-oriented, and highly skilled at influencing and communicating with executive stakeholders.
Responsibilities
Program Financial Management
- Own and manage the financial health of a large, multi-workstream enterprise cloud migration program.
- Consolidate individual project forecasts into a comprehensive program-level financial view.
- Validate accuracy of submitted financial data, identify discrepancies, and work with Project Managers to resolve issues.
- Prepare monthly and quarterly financial reports for senior leadership, ensuring compliance with organizational standards.
- Track budgets, actuals, variances, and forecasts; proactively identify risks and escalate issues as needed.
- Support annual planning and reforecasting cycles to ensure alignment with enterprise financial objectives.
Change Control Management
- Lead the end-to-end Change Request (CR) governance process for the program.
- Chair CR Council meetings, ensuring timely review, assessment, and approval of all change requests.
- Manage intake, impact analysis, stakeholder communication, and documentation throughout the CR lifecycle.
- Update financials, schedules, and program documentation to reflect approved changes, maintaining audit-ready accuracy.
- Ensure strict adherence to enterprise change management standards and documentation requirements.
Stakeholder Collaboration & Governance
- Partner closely with senior Project Managers, Program Leads, and cross-functional technical teams to maintain alignment across workstreams.
- Build strong and trusted relationships with executive stakeholders, delivering clear, concise updates on financials and change impacts.
- Facilitate governance meetings, prepare executive-level presentations, and support informed decision-making.
- Act as a PMO advisor, promoting best practices and driving consistency across reporting and program controls.
Program Delivery Support
- Support program management activities including milestone tracking, risk and issue management, and dependency oversight.
- Maintain accurate, organized program documentation to support compliance and audit processes.
- Provide guidance on tools, templates, and processes for program-level financial and change management.
Must Have Requirements
- 10+ years of Project Management experience (ideally progressing through PCO/PMO roles within banking).
- 5+ years of executive-facing Project Management experience.
- Previous experience working within the Big 5 Canadian banks.
- Demonstrated ability to manage program-level financials and complex change control processes.
- Exceptional stakeholder management, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Nice to Have
- Experience with Cloud Data Migration initiatives (Azure strongly preferred).
- Familiarity with client’s financial processes and enterprise program governance frameworks.
