Senior BSA – Securities Lending / Prime Brokerage
Are you an experienced Business Systems Analyst with deep knowledge of Securities Lending or Prime Brokerage? This role offers the opportunity to work closely with cross-functional teams, translate complex business requirements into technical solutions, and support high-impact initiatives within the capital markets domain.
Working with one of our top financial clients, this position calls for a Senior BSA – Securities Lending / Prime Brokerage who brings strong analytical skills, an understanding of trading and securities operations, and the ability to collaborate effectively with both business and technology stakeholders. The ideal candidate is proactive, detail-oriented, and capable of driving clarity in fast-paced, evolving environments.
Responsibilities:
- Partner with business, technology, and product stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document detailed business and system requirements.
- Work closely with development teams to ensure functional requirements are accurately translated into technical design.
- Support solution design activities, ensuring alignment with capital markets processes, especially within Securities Lending and/or Prime Brokerage.
- Develop detailed process flows, use cases, and user stories to support development and testing.
- Facilitate discussions with SMEs, front office, operations, and technology teams to validate requirements.
- Support QA teams by clarifying requirements, reviewing test cases, and assisting with defect triage.
- Ensure all documentation meets enterprise and regulatory standards.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to sprint planning, grooming, and retrospectives.
- Identify gaps, risks, dependencies, and propose actionable solutions.
Required Skills:
- Strong understanding of Securities Lending or Prime Brokerage workflows, operations, or technology.
- Proven experience as a Business Systems Analyst supporting capital markets systems.
- Ability to break down high-level designs into detailed low-level requirements.
- Experience working in Agile, cross-functional environments.
- Strong analytical, documentation, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication skills for interacting with business and technical stakeholders.
Nice-to-Have Skills:
- Exposure to front-to-back lifecycle of securities borrowing/lending, collateral, trade capture, settlements, or margin.
- Experience with regulatory reporting for capital markets.
- Familiarity with market data, downstream systems, or trade workflows.
- Knowledge of integration patterns, APIs, and data mapping.
- Experience with Prime Brokerage platforms or similar capital markets applications.
