Working with one of our top financial clients, this role calls for a Banking Operations Analyst – FX/Trade Processing. This position involves providing operational support within a high-volume, fast-paced environment to ensure accurate and timely processing of financial transactions, supporting internal teams, and contributing to process improvements.
Pay rate range (CAD): $17.60/hr – $24.88/hr
Responsibilities
- Accurately process and review a variety of financial transactions within established service levels.
- Ensure all transaction activities comply with operational procedures, policies, and regulatory standards.
- Conduct detailed validations to maintain data integrity and transaction accuracy.
- Manage high volumes of work while meeting deadlines and quality standards.
- Support daily operational tasks and contribute to team objectives.
- Respond to inquiries from internal partners in a professional, timely manner.
- Investigate and resolve operational issues through effective problem-solving.
- Escalate complex problems and potential risks when necessary.
- Provide guidance and subject matter expertise within designated responsibilities.
- Follow established controls, policies, and compliance requirements.
- Identify operational risks, discrepancies, and control gaps; escalate when needed.
- Support audit readiness by adhering to procedures and controls.
- Participate in process improvement initiatives and support new technology implementations.
- Demonstrate adaptability in response to changing business priorities.

Nice to Have
- Prior experience with trade processing or back-office banking operations.
- Familiarity with bank compliance and audit processes.
- Previous experience working in a hybrid or on-site environment.
