Working with one of our top financial clients, this role calls for a Banking Operations Associate. This position involves supporting government requests for information within a collaborative team environment, offering valuable exposure to banking processes and the opportunity for long-term growth.
Pay rate range (CAD): $17.60/hr – $21.83/hr
Responsibilities
- Process government requests for information accurately and in a timely manner
- Support compliance with service level agreements (SLAs) and internal policies
- Multi-task across various applications and databases efficiently
- Maintain high levels of accuracy and attention to detail in all transactions
- Communicate effectively with internal teams regarding process updates and issue escalation
- Support the team during process improvement initiatives and contribute ideas
- Uphold confidentiality and exercise discretion in handling sensitive information
- Participate in training and ongoing development activities to enhance operational knowledge
- Collaborate with team members to promote a positive and productive work environment
Desired Skill-Set
- Minimum of 2-4 years of experience in banking operations or back-office support
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task effectively
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in work
- Proficient in MS Office suite and comfortable working with multiple databases and applications
- Clear and effective communication skills
- Ability to meet strict SLAs and manage workload efficiently
- Demonstrated initiative and adaptability
- Supportive team player with a professional demeanor
Nice to Have
- Prior banking or branch experience
- Business or administrative background
- Experience supporting government or regulatory inquiries
