Working with one of our top financial clients, this role calls for a Banking Operations Officer – CSC. In this position, you will manage retirement accounts, ensure compliance with CRA guidelines, and process withdrawals while collaborating with internal teams in a hybrid work environment.
Pay rate range (CAD): $17.60/hr – $23.64/hr
Responsibilities
- Manage Registered Retirement Plan requests received through Salesforce, ensuring adherence to CRA regulations
- Process withdrawals related to retirement funds accurately and efficiently
- Ensure all activities comply with applicable regulations and tax guidelines
- Collaborate with internal partners to provide timely resolutions and support
- Maintain meticulous records and documentation for all account activities
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to process improvements
- Support training periods and adapt to operational procedures during onboarding
Desired Skill-Set
- 2-4 years of experience in banking or financial services
- Proficiency in Microsoft 365 (Excel, Word, Outlook) for 4+ years
- Strong compliance background with knowledge of CRA and RRSP processes
- Experience with Salesforce is highly preferred
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong prioritization and time management skills
- Effective team player with good communication abilities
- Tech-savvy with the ability to adapt to new tools and systems
Nice to Have
- Prior experience processing RRSP funds and withdrawals
- Canadian Securities Course (CSC) certification
- Knowledge of CRA and RRSP/RESP systems
