Working with one of our top financial clients, this role calls for a Bilingual Banking Associates – KYC. This position offers an excellent opportunity to provide operational support within a leading financial institution, working in a dynamic team environment with potential for contract extension and valuable industry experience.
Pay rate range (CAD): $17.60/hr – $30.97/hr
Responsibilities
- Perform operational transactions accurately and efficiently according to established procedures and SLAs
- Verify customer information and conduct KYC checks via inbound and outbound calls
- Manage back-office administrative tasks such as data entry, documentation review, and record maintenance
- Provide customers with information about different wire transfer options, confirming details without processing transactions
- Collaborate with internal partners and escalate issues as needed to ensure service quality
- Support incoming transactions, validating information, and assisting with adjustments within authorized limits
- Adhere to compliance standards, including Anti-Money Laundering and other regulatory requirements
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and contribute to reporting on critical operations projects
- Maintain strict confidentiality in handling customer and internal data
- Participate in team meetings and training sessions to stay informed on policies and product updates
Desired Skill-Set
- Fully bilingual in English and French, both written and verbal
- Minimum of 4 years' experience in the banking or financial services sector
- Proven experience conducting KYC procedures and verifying customer data
- Call center background handling inbound and outbound customer interactions
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365, especially Excel, Outlook, and Word
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment
- Excellent attention to detail and high accuracy in work
- Good understanding of financial products such as wire transfers, foreign exchange, and cash products
- Ability to meet strict deadlines and handle high work volumes
Nice to Have
- Experience with bank wire transfers and other financial transactions
- Familiarity with AI tools such as Microsoft Copilot or similar platforms
- Knowledge of global and WSS platforms in banking operations
