Working with one of our top financial clients, this role calls for a Bilingual Banking Officer. This position offers an exciting opportunity to support operational activities within a dynamic team, with potential for full-time conversion based on performance. The role involves handling day-to-day banking operations, ensuring accurate documentation, and maintaining high standards of service.
Pay rate range (CAD): $17.60/hr – $30.97/hr
Responsibilities
- Review and compare documentation, making necessary corrections with meticulous attention to detail
- Perform end-to-end operational support, including executing transactions accurately and timely
- Support internal teams by validating incoming data and assisting with adjustments within authority levels
- Contribute to process improvements and efficiency initiatives
- Adhere to established SLAs, meeting deadlines while maintaining quality and accuracy
- Escalate processing or operational issues appropriately based on a solid understanding of the problem
- Maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion in managing sensitive information
- Collaborate with internal teams, providing exemplary communication and support
- Support compliance with industry and internal regulations, including Anti-Money Laundering policies
- Participate in scheduled daily team meetings and training sessions

- Basic understanding of banking products such as MM, FX, and cash products
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
- Knowledge of global banking platforms is an asset
Nice to Have
- Prior banking or financial services experience
- Experience with trade processing or cash product operations
- Knowledge of WSS and global banking platforms
