Working with one of our top financial clients, this role calls for a Bilingual Oracle DBA/GoldenGate to support business-as-usual database operations, application changes, deployments, troubleshooting, and environment maintenance. This contract offers the opportunity to collaborate with an established team of database administrators while contributing to reliable and well-managed Oracle environments.
Pay rate range(CAD): $70.26/hr – $84.31/hr
Responsibilities
- Support Oracle database administration and day-to-day operational activities.
- Implement and support application changes and deployments.
- Troubleshoot database and environment-related issues.
- Maintain Oracle environments to support stability, availability, and performance.
- Work collaboratively with a team of database administrators.
- Provide occasional evening and weekend support as required.
Desired Skill-Set
- At least five years of relevant database administration experience.
- Experience with Oracle Cloud.
- Experience with GoldenGate.
- Experience supporting application deployments.
- Strong troubleshooting skills.
- Experience maintaining database environments.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Nice to Have
- Bilingual communication skills.
- SQL Server experience.
