Bilingual Recruitment Associate (French/English)
At BeachHead, we are rethinking the way recruiting works and French-speaking talent is at the heart of our growth.
We are looking for a bilingual recruitment associate who will serve as our primary connection to French-speaking candidates and clients across Canada. This is a high-visibility role where your language skills are not just an asset — they are the foundation of everything you will do. You will be the voice of BeachHead in both official languages, owning the bilingual candidate experience end-to-end while working alongside a collaborative team of experienced recruiters. This opportunity is ideal for someone who is passionate about people, enjoys building relationships, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and is eager to grow within the recruitment industry. The Recruitment Associate will work closely with senior recruiters and play a key role in screening, sourcing, and coordinating candidates for a variety of positions across business, administrative, operations, customer support, and technology environments. If you are entrepreneurial, organized, energetic, and not afraid to learn and grow through experience, we would love to hear from you.
Annual Salary Range (CAD): $55,000 – $60,000
Responsibilities
- Own all French-language candidate communications, pre-screens, and outreach — written and verbal
- Conduct phone and virtual interviews entirely in French with bilingual candidates across Canada
- Source and build pipelines of qualified bilingual (French/English) candidates for operations, administrative, customer support, business and IT roles
- Support the recruitment team with sourcing and screening candidates for a variety of bilingual French/English positions
- Translate and adapt candidate summaries, profiles, and formatted resumes into English for client and team use
- Advise the team on French-language market nuances, regional terminology (Quebec vs. Ontario French), and cultural context
- Proactively source via LinkedIn, job boards, francophone networks, referrals, and internal databases
- Coordinate interviews and maintain clear, bilingual communication throughout the recruitment cycle
- Accurately document candidate activity in the Applicant Tracking System (ATS)
- Act as a BeachHead ambassador within the francophone candidate community
Desired Skill Set
- Fully bilingual in French and English — native or near-native fluency in both languages, written and spoken (this is non-negotiable)
- 2+ years of recruitment, staffing, customer-facing, or related experience preferred
- Strong interpersonal and relationship-building abilities
- Comfortable navigating both Quebec French and Canadian French contexts
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Professional, confident, and comfortable speaking with candidates over the phone and virtually
- Experience using LinkedIn, job boards, resume databases, or Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) is considered an asset
- Strong attention to detail, including resume formatting and candidate documentation
- A proactive attitude with a willingness to learn and grow within the recruitment industry
Why BeachHead?
- Compensation – competitive salary, benefits, and performance-based incentives
- Ownership – you will lead all French-language efforts with trust and autonomy
- Growth – ongoing mentorship, training, and increased responsibility over time
- Environment – collaborative, energetic team
