Business Analyst – Access Provisioning/Onboarding & Offboarding

Working in a structured and fast-paced environment, this role calls for a Business Analyst – Access Provisioning/Onboarding & Offboarding who will oversee employee lifecycle operations, manage user access controls, and maintain compliance with audit standards. The successful candidate will coordinate onboarding logistics, manage offboarding procedures, and ensure systems, data, and access align with enterprise governance requirements.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate onboarding tasks, including sharing welcome materials, arranging hardware, and initiating system and access requests.
- Initiate SOW requests for contingent workers to create credentials and access permissions.
- Set up user accounts for software, networks, and applications, assigning system access based on new hire roles.
- Provide technical orientation, software overview, and distribute onboarding documentation and LMS links.
- Add new hires to distribution lists and shared mailboxes, ensuring complete setup before the start date.
- Execute offboarding tasks, including revoking access to systems, collecting company assets, and ensuring follow-up completion.
- Manage transfer-out activities such as revoking access to Audit-owned applications (e.g., SharePoint, Sharedrive) and coordinating asset transfers.
- Maintain and update Audit-owned applications (SMART, RETAIN) to reflect promotions, leaves, or manager changes.
- Handle revoke/change requests following Diamond/AMH attestations, ensuring data accuracy and compliance.
- Oversee Iron Mountain physical file management in accordance with retention lifecycle policies.
- Support quarterly SharePoint/ShareDrive and annual Generic Email attestations.
- Assist with Audit Data Management Procedures and related governance controls.
- Coordinate hardware and software provisioning across locations, monitor capacity, and liaise with Real Estate partners for moves.
Desired Skill Set:
- 2+ years of Business Analyst experience in a corporate or audit-focused environment.
- 2+ years of access provisioning and deprovisioning experience.
- 2+ years of hands-on experience in onboarding and offboarding operations.
- 2+ years of audit experience within regulated or financial institutions.
- 4+ years of Excel experience (intermediate level) for tracking, reporting, and data management.
- Proven ability to coordinate cross-system access provisioning with attention to security and compliance.
- Strong understanding of audit workflows, user management, and operational risk controls.
Nice to Have:
- Experience with Identity and Access Management (IAM) systems.
- Knowledge of compliance frameworks and access governance standards.
- Experience working within large financial or audit-driven environments.
