Are you a detail-oriented and investigative professional with a passion for Anti-Money Laundering (AML) compliance and financial crime prevention? This role offers an exciting opportunity to support AML initiatives, conduct thorough investigations, and ensure regulatory compliance within the banking and capital markets environment.

Working with one of our top clients, this position calls for a Business Analyst – AML who will perform transaction monitoring, support remediation and BAU functions, and provide detailed documentation and reporting. The ideal candidate will have strong audit experience, excellent communication skills, and a proven ability to analyze and interpret complex financial data.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform BAU AML functions and support remediation activities as required.
  • Review financial transactions for suspicious activity and investigate potential money laundering or other financial crimes.
  • Create and maintain detailed documentation, reports, and investigative findings.
  • Conduct audits and compliance checks to ensure adherence to regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and stakeholders to resolve AML issues and implement process improvements.
  • Support data analysis efforts using tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or similar platforms.
  • Ensure accurate reporting and assist in preparing regulatory filings as needed.

Desired Skill Set:

  • 5+ years of Business/Data Analysis experience in banking, capital markets, or financial services.
  • Strong experience in AML investigations, audit, and report writing.
  • Proven ability to perform BAU functions and support remediation activities.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities effectively.
  • Experience with data visualization tools such as Power BI or Tableau.

Nice-to-Have:

  • 5–7+ years of Business Analyst experience within the Banking/Finance/Investment industry.
  • Experience working in a capital markets trading or risk/control environment.
  • Familiarity with customer experience dashboards and advanced data analysis techniques
