Business Analyst II – Point of Sale (POS)
Are you an organized and detail-oriented Business Analyst with strong experience supporting large-scale operational or technology-driven initiatives? This role offers the opportunity to support client’s Merchant Delivery team by driving the success of major merchant rollouts and Point of Sale (POS) device projects, ensuring smooth execution, clear documentation, and exceptional merchant experiences.
Working with one of our top financial clients, this role calls for a Business Analyst II – Point of Sale (POS) who will collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, manage timelines, document processes, and act as a key conduit between stakeholders. The ideal candidate will bring strong analytical capabilities, excellent documentation skills, and the ability to coordinate and communicate effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
- Gather, analyze, and document complex business and project requirements across multiple teams involved in POS device rollouts.
- Advocate for project requirements, ensuring alignment during planning and execution phases.
- Develop and manage detailed work-back schedules, timelines, and targets to meet project deadlines.
- Capture and document end-to-end processes and procedures to support teams within the Merchant Solutions group.
- Coordinate with business, technical, and operational teams to ensure initiatives are delivered on time, within scope, and with high quality.
- Provide clear communication, documentation, and status reporting to stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
Desired Skill Set:
- Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel and MS Project.
- Strong requirements gathering and documentation skills.
- Excellent organization, time management, and communication abilities (written and verbal).
Nice-to-Have:
- Experience working on Point of Sale (POS) device projects.
- Prior banking or financial institution experience.
- Vendor management experience.
