Business Analyst – OTC Derivatives/Confirmation

Working with one of the top financial clients, this role calls for a Business Analyst – OTC Derivatives/Confirmation who will collaborate with internal operations teams and vendor partners to support the implementation of a new book of record system. The successful candidate will leverage their deep subject matter expertise in OTC derivatives and confirmations while managing deliverables, workflows, and project outcomes. This role demands strong analytical skills, excellent communication, and the ability to transition knowledge effectively between internal and external teams.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate with internal teams across OTC derivatives operations, settlements, and confirmations.
- Translate internal SME knowledge into actionable insights for vendor teams.
- Partner with vendors to support the implementation of the book of record.
- Work with internal project teams to map key deliverables, workflows, and milestones.
- Provide stakeholder-level communication, ensuring expectations are managed effectively.
- Contribute to project documentation and ensure alignment with timelines and objectives.
Desired Skill Set:
- Extensive OTC derivatives and confirmation experience.
- Strong project management skills in financial services.
- Proficiency in MS Office tools (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
- Excellent stakeholder and executive-level communication skills.
Nice to Have:
- Experience with Calypso platform.
- PMP, CFA, or MBA certification.
- Hands-on experience with book of record project implementation.
