Are you a detail-oriented and regulatory-savvy Business Analyst with a strong understanding of US regulations and Capital Markets? This role offers an exciting opportunity to work with one of our top financial clients, supporting regulatory reporting functions and ensuring compliance with evolving US market requirements.

Working with one of our top financial clients, this role calls for a Business Analyst – Regulatory Reporting / US Regulations who will be responsible for executing day-to-day regulatory processes, running control checks, conducting data analysis, and ensuring timely and accurate trade and transaction reporting. The ideal candidate will bring hands-on experience in CAT reporting, capital markets, and regulatory operations, coupled with strong analytical and communication skills.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide daily support to the US Regulatory Reporting team, independently managing reporting and control processes.
  • Execute and monitor daily controls, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and full regulatory compliance.
  • Conduct User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for system enhancements and reporting updates.
  • Review and analyze business requirements, translating them into actionable process improvements.
  • Act as a subject matter expert for US regulations, CAT reporting, and other trade and transaction reporting obligations.
  • Identify and document issues, exceptions, and gaps in reporting; collaborate with vendors and internal stakeholders for resolution.
  • Communicate BAU health status to management, escalating key issues and ensuring timely resolution.
  • Analyze operational data to identify root causes of process inefficiencies and develop recommendations for improvement.
  • Maintain and develop strong relationships with business, operations, and technology partners to ensure end-to-end process alignment.
  • Support risk management and governance frameworks, ensuring all procedures meet internal and external regulatory standards.
  • Participate in change management projects by documenting and communicating new processes effectively.
  • Prepare and present progress and risk reports to senior management, summarizing dependencies, constraints, and delays.
  • Stay updated on emerging US regulatory changes and assess their impact on existing trade reporting frameworks.

Desired Skill Set:

  • Strong understanding of US regulations and trade reporting requirements.
  • Hands-on experience with CAT (Consolidated Audit Trail) reporting.
  • Solid knowledge of capital markets operations and security markets.
  • Experience performing data analysis and identifying risk or compliance issues.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Access, PowerPoint) for analysis and reporting.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills to convey complex issues clearly.
  • Proven ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage tight deadlines.

Nice-to-Have:

  • Knowledge of front-to-back capital markets processes.
  • Previous experience working in a financial institution or banking environment.
  • Exposure to vendor systems supporting trade and transaction reporting.
