Business Process Analyst
Are you an analytical and detail-oriented Business Process Analyst with a passion for improving efficiency and driving organizational performance? This role provides the opportunity to partner with business leaders to analyze, redesign, and optimize key business processes that support strategic goals and operational excellence.
Working with one of our top financial clients, this role calls for a Business Process Analyst who will be responsible for analyzing existing (“As-Is”) processes, designing future-state (“To-Be”) workflows, identifying improvement opportunities, and supporting continuous process enhancement through data-driven insights and stakeholder collaboration.
Responsibilities:
- Analyze current (“As-Is”) process models, compare them to future (“To-Be”) designs, and identify required changes to achieve desired improvements.
- Design and document new or enhanced business processes, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives.
- Identify, document, and analyze business rules that guide process implementation and governance.
- Conduct testing and validation of redesigned processes to ensure optimal results and efficiency.
- Evaluate processes holistically to assess their impact on people, strategy, systems, and operations.
- Collect and evaluate process performance feedback to identify opportunities for future enhancements.
- Monitor and measure process effectiveness, ensuring continuous improvement.
- Perform data analysis to detect inefficiencies, bottlenecks, and improvement areas within workflows.
- Utilize spreadsheet, flowcharting, and process analysis tools to visualize and communicate process insights.
Desired Skill Set:
- 1–2 years of process consulting experience (preferably on the business side).
- 1–2 years of data analytics experience, including developing reports, analyzing data, and making recommendations.
- Proven ability to lead workshops and demonstrate strong leadership in process initiatives.
- Skilled in procedure documentation and process mapping techniques.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret and synthesize input from customers, vendors, and stakeholders.
- Solid understanding of business process analysis methods and the ability to translate findings into actionable improvements.
Nice-to-Have:
- Experience using Visio or other process mapping tools.
- Familiarity with Power BI for data visualization and reporting.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
