Working with one of our top financial clients, this role calls for a Business System Analyst – AI Project. This position involves working closely with trading and pricing systems to support the development and enhancement of chatbot functionalities tailored for capital markets operations, specifically within foreign exchange workflows. The role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to innovative AI-driven projects in a dynamic financial services environment.
Pay rate range (CAD): $60.00/hr – $65.00/hr
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with FX traders and capital markets stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document business requirements.
- Design and translate requirements into chatbot workflows and feature specifications.
- Manage user stories and sprint progress using JIRA to ensure project milestones are met.
- Maintain detailed documentation in Confluence, including chatbot behaviors and system integration points.
- Engage in continuous improvement of chatbot capabilities, leveraging AI and NLP technologies.
- Support the development of process flow diagrams and operational documentation.
Desired Skill-Set
- Conceptual understanding of Large Language Models (LLMs), Rule-Based Systems (LLPs), and Agentic AI design (hands-on experience not required).
- Familiarity with foreign exchange (FX) workflows and trading processes.
- Previous experience as a Business Systems Analyst in banking, FX, or capital markets environments.
- Knowledge of process flow diagrams and documentation practices.
- Strong communication skills, capable of liaising effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Basic SQL knowledge is preferred.
Nice to Have
- Experience working with AI/LLM technologies in a banking or financial setting.
- Ability to analyze chatbot data flow and system integration logic.
- Inquisitive mindset with strong technical communication skills.
- Understanding of NLP concepts and conversational AI design principles.
