Calypso Systems Analyst

This is an exciting opportunity to join one of our leading financial clients as a Calypso Systems Analyst, where you will play a key role in supporting middle-office and derivatives operations through system analysis, configuration, and delivery of technology-driven initiatives.
Working with one of our top financial clients, this role calls for a Calypso Systems Analyst who possesses deep knowledge of Capital Markets products, strong analytical and communication skills, and proven experience supporting enterprise-level projects within Calypso. You will serve as a key liaison between technology and business stakeholders to ensure seamless delivery of system enhancements, process automation, and operational efficiency.
Responsibilities:

Identify Calypso business needs for new and enhanced products, services, and processes, and clarify technology requirements to address operational gaps.

Act as the Project Delivery lead representative for Capital Markets Middle Office and Derivative Operations in managing day-to-day Calypso business issues.

Capture, analyze, and document detailed business requirements to ensure clear alignment between stakeholders and technology teams.

Develop and execute User Acceptance Testing (UAT) plans for Calypso enhancements and recommend appropriate follow-up actions.

Facilitate requirements-gathering sessions with cross-functional stakeholders to ensure comprehensive business coverage for large or complex initiatives.

Build and maintain strong relationships across business units, technology teams, and external partners to support a collaborative working environment.

Provide consultancy and support for process improvements, system automation, and technology usability.

Create presentations and project updates for senior management, highlighting key metrics, project status, and strategic initiatives.

Represent Global Product Operations and/or Capital Markets Middle Office in projects related to new products, system upgrades, process improvements, and regulatory changes.
Desired Skill Set:

5+ years of progressive business analysis or operations support experience, ideally within Capital Markets or Derivatives Operations.

Strong configuration and/or operational experience with Calypso (mandatory).

Advanced understanding of Product Operations and Trading Products within Capital Markets.

Knowledge of project management and system development life cycle (SDLC) methodologies.

Skilled in requirements documentation, workflow and process modeling, and data analysis.

Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and presentation skills.

Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and deliverables in a fast-paced environment.

Exceptional communication, relationship management, and negotiation abilities.

Accounting or operations experience within a Capital Markets environment is an asset.
Nice-to-Have Skills:

Professional designations such as MBA, CFA, CBAP, PMP, FRM, or DMS (preferred).

Experience with practical application development or client solution delivery.

Exposure to feasibility studies, current state analysis, and business assessment tools.
