Working with one of the top financial clients, this role calls for a GenAI Project Coordinator who will support the intake, governance, and operationalization of AI initiatives across the organization. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating portfolio activities, preparing dashboards and executive updates, ensuring AI governance compliance, and maintaining accurate documentation throughout the AI project lifecycle. This role demands exceptional organizational, analytical, and communication skills, along with a strong understanding of governance and reporting frameworks.

 

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate AI portfolio intake and pipeline management, ensuring all ideas and initiatives are logged, tracked, and aligned with strategic priorities.
  • Maintain and refresh dashboards (Power BI, Tableau, or Excel) that report on portfolio KPIs such as throughput, adoption, ROI, and risk indicators.
  • Coordinate and manage materials, agendas, and minutes for AI governance councils and portfolio reviews.
  • Track and follow up on assigned actions, risks, and issues to ensure timely completion.
  • Assist with Responsible AI checklists, model inventories, compliance documentation, and audit readiness in partnership with Legal, Risk, and Data teams.
  • Support AI risk assessments, evidence collection, and monitoring activities in alignment with Responsible AI frameworks.
  • Coordinate third-party vendor documentation, statements of work, and deliverables, ensuring alignment with budget and project milestones.
  • Prepare executive summaries, progress reports, and briefing materials for senior stakeholders.
  • Support internal communication and training initiatives related to AI portfolio processes and governance practices.

Desired Skill Set

  • 2–4+ years of experience in portfolio/program coordination, PMO, or business/operations analyst roles within financial services or other regulated industries.
  • Proficiency in Power BI, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint (or Tableau), and collaboration tools such as O365, Jira, or Confluence.
  • Strong skills in data visualization, executive reporting, and storytelling using complex datasets.
  • Familiarity with portfolio governance, intake-to-prototype workflows, and documentation required for audit readiness.
  • Excellent attention to detail, analytical thinking, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills with the ability to work across business, risk, and technology teams.
  • Awareness of AI/ML concepts and Responsible AI principles (training will be provided).

Nice to Have

  • Experience supporting or coordinating AI/GenAI initiatives, including testing, training, or launch activities.
  • Exposure to maintaining AI model registries, governance scorecards, or adoption tracking.
  • Prior experience in banking or wealth management portfolio coordination, compliance reviews, or operational governance.
