Infrastructure Architect

This role offers an exciting opportunity to shape and govern architectural frameworks while ensuring secure, scalable, and high-performing technology solutions across the organization.
Working with one of our top clients, this role calls for an Infrastructure Architect who will play a key role in designing, reviewing, and guiding the implementation of end-to-end infrastructure solutions. The ideal candidate will collaborate with cross-functional teams to establish architecture standards, assess risk, support solution governance, and ensure alignment between business needs and technology strategy.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in designing and developing architecture frameworks to govern solution development and implementation, including domain strategy, policies, guiding principles, and standards.
- Work closely with technology partners to understand security standards, assess risks, and validate solution security design.
- Research and analyze business requirements to recommend optimal architecture and infrastructure solutions.
- Review and approve detailed solution architecture and designs to ensure alignment with security standards, patterns, and architectural frameworks.
- Contribute to project planning activities, provide input, manage initiatives, direct assigned resources, and ensure timely communication and escalation of issues.
- Participate as an expert and consultant on projects of moderate to high complexity and risk.
- Help develop a Requirement Traceability Matrix for end-to-end traceability from requirements to solution design.
- Build consensus while facilitating collaboration and decision-making across business units to ensure alignment with IT and architecture strategy.
- Respect and follow technology delivery practices, standards, and project management disciplines, including system documentation, scope estimation, and requirements gathering.
- Support the development, communication, and execution of comprehensive architecture strategies, policies, and solutions.
- Conduct pre- and post-implementation reviews to ensure solutions meet requirements and to identify improvement opportunities for future standards and patterns.
- Contribute to technology standards and governance decision-making processes.
- Provide technical risk analysis and establish parameters for ongoing solution investments.
Desired Skill Set:
- 10 years of experience in Infrastructure Architecture
- 7 years of experience in Azure cloud services
- 7 years of experience working with Linux and Windows operating systems
- 7 years of experience with JBoss, NodeJS, and Spring Boot
- 7 years of experience with databases such as Oracle RAC, OCaC, MS SQL, MongoDB, and Cassandra
- 7 years of experience working with storage technologies (SAN, DAS, NAS)
- 7 years of experience in networking technologies including DNS, Load Balancing, Firewalls, and CDN
- 7 years of experience in Security principles and best practices
Nice-to-Have:
- Prior experience with banking Architecture (Solution or Infrastructure Architecture) – strongly preferred
- Azure Solution Architecture Certification
- Experience in enterprise financial services environments
