Working with one of our top financial clients, this role calls for an Intermediate BSA – API Integrations. This position involves supporting a key project in a dynamic environment, with a strong emphasis on requirements elicitation, API documentation, and stakeholder engagement.
Pay rate range (CAD): $66.00/hr – $72.00/hr
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather and document detailed requirements for API-related projects
- Facilitate requirements workshops and discussions to clarify project goals and functionalities
- Write clear, comprehensive API documentation, including user stories and sequence diagrams
- Engage with technical teams to ensure accurate and effective documentation of technical solutions
- Assist in development and review of user stories, ensuring completeness and clarity
- Support Agile ceremonies and contribute to sprint planning and reviews
- Provide deep analytical insights that add value beyond automated tools
- Communicate effectively with product owners, BAs, and business partners to ensure alignment
- Contribute to project deliverables, ensuring they meet quality standards and client expectations
Desired Skill-Set
- 5-7 years of experience as a Business Systems Analyst
- Strong expertise in requirements elicitation and facilitation
- Proven experience in API documentation and related technical writing
- Ability to create and interpret sequence diagrams
- Background in core banking systems (highly preferred)
- Hands-on experience working in Agile environments
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
- Ability to document technical solutions clearly and accurately
- Familiarity with accessibility standards is a plus
Nice to Have
- Experience with core banking applications or financial systems
- Exposure to SSO and authentication protocols
- Knowledge of API security best practices
- Familiarity with automation tools related to documentation processes
- Accessibility experience to support inclusive design
