Working with one of our top financial clients, this role calls for an Intermediate BSA – Databricks/ETL Transformation. The position involves supporting data migration projects, ensuring data integrity, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to optimize data processes.
Pay rate range (CAD): $66.00/hr – $72.00/hr
Responsibilities:
- Support migration of data from legacy data warehouses to new systems
- Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and integrity throughout migration processes
- Develop and execute data mappings, ETL, and data transformation workflows
- Work with Data Bricks, JSON, and APIs to facilitate data integration
- Contribute to requirements gathering by writing clear user stories
- Collaborate effectively with stakeholders and technical teams
- Assist in defining and documenting technical specifications and data flow diagrams
- Participate in testing, validation, and troubleshooting data-related issues
- Support modernization initiatives and ongoing data quality improvement efforts
Desired Skill-Set:
- 8+ years of experience as a Business/Data Analyst in a financial or banking environment
- Strong expertise in data mapping, ETL processes, Data Bricks, and data transformation techniques
- Proficiency with JSON and APIs integration
- Experience working within core banking systems (must-have)
- Ability to write user stories and contribute to requirements documentation
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Proven ability to work effectively with technical teams and stakeholders
Nice to Have:
- Experience with data migration projects in a banking or financial services domain
- Knowledge of data governance and compliance standards
- Familiarity with modern data architecture and cloud platforms
- Previous experience with Agile methodologies and project lifecycle
